Breastfeeding Support Resources.

The World Health Organisation recommends exclusive breastfeeding until the infant is aged 6 months and encourages breastfeeding until 2 years of age (1) .

Despite these recommendations, the United Kingdom has one of the lowest breastfeeding rates in the world (2) .

Within the Cambridge Lactation Lab, we recognise that the process of breastfeeding is not easy and requires significant, time, energy and support from the lactating parent and their community.

Here, we have compiled a list of resources that can be accessed to support this process and for individuals to seek help on their breastfeeding journey.
